Arab Banking Corporation announced today that it had made a strategic decision to expand still further the scope of its Trade Finance business going forward.
Arab Banking Corporation is one of the longest established and most significant participants in the Trade Finance services marketplace, and over the last five or six years, it has made considerable progress in its speciality fields of asset creation, asset management and transaction structuring.
Under the matrix structure outlined - and which is being rolled out for other major product categories across the ABC Group - Amr El-Ashmawi, previously Regional Representative and General Manager of DF Deutsche Forfait AG - Bahrain Office, will Head the Trade Finance operations for the GCC region and thereby enhance the existing Trade Finance resources in ABCIB, London, which cover Europe, N. Africa, and the Levant. Further appointments are expected as new business initiatives are launched.
