Samsung maintains design leadership with launch of its first slider phone in Middle East

Samsung Electronics, the world leader in digital technology, has further strengthened its design leadership position in the Middle East with the launch of SGH-D410, the slide-up camera phone.
The SGH-D410 comes with a built-in 300,000-resolution VGA camera; the MMS, EMS, SMS and e-mail provide all the functionalities of the office, with all the convenience of the user's pocket-sized mobile phone. The new slider design mobile phone follows the company's extremely successful clamshell design.
Mr. Steve Han, Senior Manager - Telecommunications Division, Samsung Gulf Electronics said: "The new slider from Samsung is slick in design, superior in functionalities and specially designed to meet the needs of business users on the move."
Unlike other phones in the market, the SGH-D410 has a screen that is twice the size of other mobile phones. This phone is more comfortable for the eyes and easier to work on. With its big screen, and brilliant 262,144 colour LCD, this mobile offers more versatility and comfort than ever before.
Weighing 116g, the SGH-D410 is equipped with the most advanced functions including an audio-video shooting feature, another advanced technology masterpiece created by Samsung.
"The rotating camera optimises shooting environment and it adjusts angles easily. The camera's zoom function, together with its multi-shot function, makes it more convenient to use than ever, and enables the user to look like a professional. Users can experience the sound of the original with 64 polyphonic tones. The SGH-D410 gives more vivid and live sound than any other mobile phone currently in existence," said Mr. Ramdas Rajamani, Marketing Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics.
