Xerox Emirates assigns a new GM

Xerox Emirates announced the appointment of Andrew Hurt as the new General Manager to manage the company's operations across the United Arab Emirates.

Andrew joined Xerox's UK operations in 1987. In addition to overseeing the operations at Xerox Emirates and delivering strategic council to its team and customers, Hurt plans to expand the company's operations to address the needs of all businesses in the Emirates, develop the company's partnerships across the country as well as engage Xerox customers with the latest worldwide innovations in document management technologies.

I am delighted to have Andrew on board to steer the operations at Xerox Emirates. Prior to joining Xerox Emirates, Hurt held a number of positions in Xerox including Distributor Manager for the Middle East and before that, Marketing Manager for Xerox Engineering Systems. Andrew was holding the position of Sales Operations Manager for Xerox Emirates and contributed to the company's performance and growth over the last 5 years. In his current role, Hurt will oversee the Xerox Emirates operations and will head a team of 165 employees.

Andrew has a degree in Geology from the University of London and a Masters degree in Marketing from Strathclyde Business School.

Hurt replaces Keith Taylor who was the previous General Manager for Xerox Emirates for 7 years, now appointed to the position of Financial Controller for Xerox International Group - Distributor Operations based in United Kingdom.
