Madinat Jumeirah will provide guests with an authentic Arabian experience that is the most unique in the world. The resort will feature two grand boutique hotels, 29 traditional courtyard summer houses, conference and banqueting facilities including grand ballrooms, a 1000-seat amphitheatre and the region's only dedicated entertainment centre and multi-purpose venue, Madinat Arena. The resort also provides extensive leisure and health facilities including the Six Senses Spa offering European and Asian therapies, as well as the traditional Souk Madinat, showcasing Arabian retail and dining experiences. Set alongside one kilometre of private beach, Madinat Jumeirah is an authentic recreation of ancient Arabia capturing the natural beauty of the region and its culture with luxury and style.

Al Qasr, which translates to "The Palace," is the centre-piece of the resort designed to emulate a Sheikh's summer residence. Complete with a regally tree-lined avenue adorned with beautifully sculpted Arabian horses, this grand boutique hotel features world-class restaurants with enchanting terraces, stylish bars and lounges, and 292 rooms and suites, all with private balconies, designed and decorated in traditional Arabic style that is unique to the UAE. Offering a breathtaking Arabian ambiance, this grand boutique hotel represents the jewel of the crown for this spectacular resort.

For guests seeking a more intimate hideaway within Madinat Jumeirah, Dar Al Masyaf, the traditional two-storey Arabian summer houses, are located throughout the resort and connected by 3.5 kilometres of waterways and paths through the lavishly landscaped gardens.

With a total of 283 luxurious guest rooms and suites, the summer houses represent the premium accommodation experience within the resort and are ideal for families and small groups.

The first completed phase of Madinat Jumeirah opened its doors in September 2003, with the very successful debut of the 292-room grand boutique hotel, Mina A' Salam, The Gateway to Madinat Jumeirah. With its unique shape and omnipresent wind-towers, this graceful, sand-coloured property, heralds a step back in time - yet modern facilities and luxurious interiors provide a destination of unrivalled qualities. Since its launch, the hotel has witnessed an overwhelming response from the regional and international market, having achieved excellent occupancy rates. Mina A' Salam has set the benchmark for quality, service and prestige providing five-star luxury in a grand boutique setting that sets the precedent for Madinat Jumeirah.

"From the moment of arrival to the point of departure, the mission of Madinat Jumeirah is to provide guests with an authentic Arabian experience in every detail," explains Serge Zaalof, Resort General Manager. "From the intricate architectural style and distinct décor setting the ambience, to the exquisite cuisine, culture and genuine local hospitality, Madinat Jumeirah will be the most unique Arabian experience in the world."
