Under the agreement, Nam Enterprises becomes the sole Ugandan distributor of the extensive ENOC lubricants range, including its flagship Vulcan diesel engine and Protec gasoline engine oils. The deal, signed in Dubai by Tayyeb Al Mulla, Chief Executive, ENOC International Refining and Marketing and Mr Abel Nkoreki, Executive Director, Nam Enterprises in the presence of the company's Managing Director, Mrs Mary Nkoreki, takes the number of African countries in which ENOC lubricants are now marketed to three.

"East Africa is an important market for us and the Ugandan Republic is particularly strategic because of the demand for lubricants, particularly to service heavy equipment used in its vast agricultural sector," said Hussain Sultan, ENOC Group Chief Executive and Board Member.

"With the assistance of Nam Enterprises we will now embark on a promotional campaign throughout Uganda to build product and brand awareness. The campaign will be intensely focused on the trade sector."

Uganda becomes the 10th country on ENOC's rapidly-expanding lubricants distribution network. The 'Made-In-The-UAE' range is already on sale throughout Afghanistan, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and the UAE.

"We have high hopes of success for ENOC lubricants within Uganda because its products are manufactured to international standards and the well-established trade links between the UAE and our country have earned Dubai, in particular, a positive trading profile," said Mrs Nkoreki.
