ITP Events launches the Emirates Home Show

  • United Arab Emirates: Sunday, May 02 - 2004 at 13:21
  • PRESS RELEASE

As a response to the unprecedented growth in the local property market, and the government's expansive home ownership plan, ITP Events launched the Emirates Home show at an lavish reception for the interiors, property, finance, development and furnishings industry last week.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the world famous interiors designer, who will be holding live demonstrations at the event, flew into Dubai in order to help launch the region's premier home show.

Taking place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel from 16-18 September 2004, the event brings together for the first time leading names from the world of interior design, furniture, home technology, finance and property. Every element that today's Emirates resident needs to create the perfect home, from concept to reality, will be accessible under one roof; Property companies, financial institutions, furniture and interiors retail chains and expert designers and consultants.

Headlining the event, and providing inspiration, practical advice and live demonstrations, is Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the world's most flamboyant advocate of stylish interiors, and currently the face of the popular BBC programme Changing Rooms. Laurence will create several stunning room sets before your very eyes on the show floor and partake in Q & A sessions with the region's home-owners throughout the show.

" There is a very real need for an event that both highlights the enormous opportunities available to the home owner or renter in the UAE, and at the same time expertly addresses any concerns or questions that these people may have" said Ken Jamieson, ITP's Director of Events.

"There are an enormous amount of choices available to today's residents, whether they are looking to purchase a property and make the UAE their permanent home, or whether they simply wish to develop the potential of their home through innovative design."

The event is designed as a three tiered solution:

Part exhibition, where leading companies can showcase their products to a captive audience of high spending consumers with an interest in property, design and interiors.

Part seminar, where industry experts will share their knowledge on subjects ranging from financial choices to interior colour schemes.

Part live demonstration, where Laurence and other leading local designers will work within virtual rooms to re-create dazzling effects and harmonies.
