Held at the Emirates Towers in Dubai, the evening kicked off with a short film on LG followed by welcoming speeches by Al Yousuf Electronics managing director Mr. Prem Srivastava, LG Electronics' UAE distributor, and LG Electronics Inc, Korea, Vice President of the Digital Display and Media Company, Mr. Kwang Woo Lee.
Attendees were treated to a spectacular light and laser show leading up to the unveiling of both the new 21-inch and 29-inch Lafinion and new 48-inch LCD Wide Projection TVs, which received a rapturous applause from the 200 guests.
"Its of great importance to LG that we show our commitment to our distributors, dealers and retail partners," said Mr Kwang Woo Lee. "This event has in turn shown how committed our partners are to us, it was great to hear such a positive response to our new products."
Drawing a lot of interest from the guests, LG added to the nights' attractions with the unveiling of a Digital Display Stand, which showcased a variety of TV's from across LG's product ranges.
Bringing the show to an end, LG gave away two 29-inch and three 21-inch Lafinion TVs as lucky draw prizes for the guests.
"LG's inroads in to the digital display market have been remarkable. We are very proud to be bringing some of the most technologically advanced products into the market and would like to thank all our partners for their ongoing support" added Lee.
