Apparel LLC Group announces aggressive expansion plans for the region

Apparel holds the master franchisee rights for Jennyfer in all the gulf markets except Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The group is demonstrating its competence as market leader in the fashion and lifestyle segment by augmenting and expanding its portfolio of high-end global brands in the GCC region.

Speaking on the broad expansion plans of Apparel LLC, Mr. Nilesh Ved, Managing Director said: 'We are extremely upbeat about our expansion plans for key brands that we represent across the GCC. Our growth plans for the region reflect our commitment to bring the finest lifestyle brands to the doorsteps of the consumers of this highly dynamic market.'

'We have laid out extensive development and growth strategy of the brands backed by a strong marketing support. We are aggressively expanding our current brand portfolio in markets of UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and India and by the end of 2005 we are targeting a network of 125 owned outlets across these markets from the present 72.'

Addressing a press conference, Mr. Ved said that the opening of the new Jennyfer store at the prestigious Sharjah Mega Mall, marked a significant landmark in the evolution of the brand in the region. 'We are pleased with the strong progress we are making in executing our retail outlet expansion strategy. It has been our plan to steadily grow and consolidate the Jennyfer brand in the region. And the high demand generated for Jennyfer has upped our forecasts and further fuelled our plans to take the brand to Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman in the next phase of expansion.'

'Our selection of prime retail locations, coupled with our focus on innovative merchandise offerings and the strength of the Jennyfer brand name, have driven the successful performance of our stores in UAE. We have generated an overall sales increase of over 30% during the past year, and we are very optimistic that customers will continue to respond positively as we expand our retail presence of this vibrant brand.'

Located on the first floor of the Sharjah Mega Mall, the 2000 sq. ft outlet offers customers the latest collection of Jennyfer clothes and accessories which will be constantly updated simultaneous to the global launch every season.
