Since the hotel's first appearance at last year's ATM, the fourteen-month-old Grand Hyatt Dubai has established itself as a driving force in the region's burgeoning meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions market, as well successfully proving itself in the leisure sector as Dubai's only true City Resort.

'This time last year Grand Hyatt Dubai was Hyatt International's newest property at the Arabian Travel Market and there was much excitement surrounding its opening,' recalls General Manager, Peter Fulton. 'A year down the line, the hotel has achieved a strong reputation as one of the region's foremost business and leisure travel properties.'

The true ability of the hotel, and indeed of Dubai, to showcase itself as a premier MICE destination came last September at the 58th Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) 2003. Grand Hyatt Dubai was honoured to be one of the official host hotels for high profile IMF delegates with key official events held in the function rooms.

The hotel has also been recipient of both a local and international award recently. Indochine, the hotel's Vietnamese restaurant, was voted 'Best Oriental Restaurant' in the United Arab Emirates by readers of Grumpy Gourmet, a regional epicurean magazine. In addition, Panini, Grand Hyatt Dubai's Italian café and bakery has also received two awards for Corporate Identity/Branding and Packaging/Design at the 2003 Mobius Awards, considered the World Standard For Excellence In Advertising™.

Located in the heart of the city, the 674-room Grand Hyatt Dubai is one of the Middle East's premier City Conference Resorts. Authentic cuisines and entertainment are available at the
14 restaurants and bars, while its state-of-the-art Convention Centre is capable of facilitating up to 2,000 delegates, theatre style. Set within the 37 acres of landscaped grounds, The Grand Spa offers a wealth of luxury resort facilities.
