- PRESS RELEASE
Dnata Agencies and luxury charter operator Royal Jet today cemented a pact that appoints Dnata as Royal Jet's general sales agent (GSA) for Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
This follows a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which was reached during the Dubai Air Show last December. Under the GSA agreement, Dnata will offer luxury charter flight services to all its corporate clients, including key government and multinational organisations.
Customers will also be able to call and book the Royal Jet charter service through a dedicated telephone line to be set up at Dnata's 24 hour call centre in Dubai. This call centre is manned by fully trained and multi-lingual staff who operate flexible working hours, geared to meet the requirements of the local market. Plans are underway for a dedicated Royal Jet retail office in Dubai - which will also be managed by Dnata.
Dnata is the leading provider of retail and corporate travel services in the UAE, and is part of the Emirates Group.
Royal Jet currently operates out of its Abu Dhabi base with a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), and two Gulfstream G300s. Since its inception in May 2003, the company has been operating at full capacity and has ambitious growth plans. A new BBJ will join Royal Jet's fleet on 15th June 2004 with a configuration of 24 seats and one bedroom.
