As the hottest months of the year approach, demand for flights to cities in Europe and Asia is running high, according travel industry experts, while more and more visitors are using personal jets to reach Middle East from abroad.

Visitors attending the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) show at Dubai World Trade Centre from 4th-7th May will be able to see many examples of increasing overlap between the personal jet and Middle East travel sectors.

The seven-star Le Reve development in Dubai, for instance, recently signed a deal with ExecuJet Middle East (EJME), one of the region's leading executive aviation groups, to provide guests with personal jet services.

"We're enjoying a boom in demand," said Khadar Mattar, sales director at leading regional private jet operator ExecuJet Middle East, whose charter fleet includes Bombardier Learjets, a Canadair Bombardier Challenger 604 and a Pilatus PC12 turboprop.

"Such is the demand," adds Mattar, "that ExecuJet is soon to add another Challenger and the luxurious long-range Bombardier Global Express to the company's Middle East fleet." Configured to meet a popular 16-seat passenger demand, the Global Express can fly from Dubai to Dallas without refuelling.

Hot private jet charter destinations this year include Zurich, London, Maldives, Singapore and Beirut. "Upmarket travellers are increasingly choosing private jets in preference to scheduled flights," says Mattar. "They enjoy being able to fly exactly where they want, when they want, and in a comfortable, secure and private environment."

Visitors to ATM will be able to discuss their practicalities of personal jet use with ExecuJet senior management. ExecuJet Middle East offers a complete range of aviation services associated with the sale, operation, management, charter and support of modern high-technology business jets across the region.

The company is participating in ATM - the region's largest travel trade event - in partnership with Dubai-based industrial holding conglomerate Alpha 55, with which ExecuJet Aviation Group is associated in the Middle East.
