Hyatt Regency Dubai showcases plans for refined property at ATM 2004
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, May 05 - 2004 at 11:15
- PRESS RELEASE
Hyatt Regency Dubai, one of Dubai's first and most established five star hotels, is implementing a major refinement project this year, further improving and developing the facilities and interior of the already highly successful property.
At Hyatt International's ATM stand this year, visitors can view a range of artist's impressions detailing the look and feel of the new lobby, suites, rooms and outlets.
With Hyatt Regency Dubai boasting a heritage of hospitality excellence spanning more than two decades, architects and designers were posed with the task of inspiring designs for the refined hotel that would not only maintain the property's unique charm and comfort but add an element of energetic flair.
"Over the past 24 years, we've welcomed more than 3.5 million guests, each of whom has experienced Hyatt Regency Dubai's unique hospitality. Now, as an exciting new phase unfolds, we are drawing upon the wealth of experiences our guests have shared with us, in order to refine our offering and to continue to ensure a stay with us is an inspirational experience," explained Gordon Campbell, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Dubai.
He added, "Having been built in the late 1970's, Hyatt Regency Dubai is typical of the architecture of this period, with duplex suites and high ceilings. Fashions change and so do the needs of the business traveler, and in our newly designed rooms and suites we have accounted for this. We will in fact be increasing our rooms inventory as a result of the refinement."
An essential part of Hyatt Regency Dubai's experience is the sense of harmony the property creates with physical and cultural surroundings. Overlooking the lively city of original Dubai it offers a dramatic perspective of the Arabian Gulf. Water is an integral theme of the refinement design, and as the work unfolds you will clearly see this element become the lifeblood of the hotel, moving through the property via water sculptures, features, design elements and reflected in the fluid lines of the internal structure.
The new Hyatt Regency Dubai experience will engage all the senses, with striking visual contrasts between light and dark, rich textures from soft leather upholstery to smooth glass. And of course, the new lobby level restaurant as well as the new bar are only two of the outlets that will offer a different perspective of the exquisite tastes and aromas you have come to expect from the hotel.
Throughout the refinement process, guests and visitors will be welcomed to the hotel, though some of the outlets, facilities and areas will be closed or access will be limited. Every measure has been taken to ensure the least disturbance to guests as possible.
