- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, May 06 - 2004 at 15:39
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates scooped top accolades at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards held on the second day of the Arabian Travel Market, presently underway here.
The winners were selected purely on the basis of reader surveys conducted over a period of four months. Readers of Business Traveller Middle East were invited to vote, between January and April of this year, for those they considered best in the region in various categories including airline services, duty free shopping and airport facilities.
Simon O'Herlihy, General Manager - Marketing, Motivate Publishing, co-publisher of Business Traveller Middle East, said: "The awards reflect the opinions of business travellers within and beyond the Middle East, about airlines, airports and other amenities that cater to their needs."
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, who represented the airline on the occasion, said: "At Emirates our customers are the focus of everything we do. These awards, together with our passengers' continued preference for our products and services, are the best possible reward for the efforts for our staff."
