The one-day event focused on their joint solutions that can help organisations compete more effectively in the market by allowing them to efficiently manage their extended value networks, including their enterprise, employees and customers, as well as their customers' own suppliers and customers.

IBM and SAP Arabia are transforming Middle East organisations into on-demand enterprises by allowing them to get the information they need to make decisions faster and be more productive, as was reflected in the case study presented by Al Futtaim Group which is currently running the mySAP Business Suite on IBM eServer pSeries.

The event forms part of IBM and SAP's overall global alliance to provide organisations with top-to-bottom and end-to-end cost-effective solutions that allow them to seamlessly consolidate their systems, applications, data and business processes while streamlining communications with subsidiaries, customers and suppliers.
