- PRESS RELEASE
American Express BLUE Cardmembers who were issued with their Cards one year ago recently received their 1per cent MoneyBack due to them on amounts charged to their Blue American Express Cards on all purchases made during the previous twelve months.
"Blue is unique in that it is the first American Express Card billed in Saudi Riyals in the kingdom and the 1% MoneyBack feature is one of the most attractive of the many advantages enjoyed by Cardmembers," said Mazin Khoury, Chief Executive Officer of Amex (Saudi Arabia) Limited. "Blue is the most rewarding Card on the Saudi market and a better alternative to using cash."
Khoury continued, "Blue's instant popularity from the moment it became available in Saudi Arabia means that all of our customers will benefit from the payout at the same time as we celebrate the Card's first anniversary and we want to thank each and everyone of our Cardmembers for their loyalty throughout the year."
The MoneyBack feature is unique to Blue from American Express which was introduced after worldwide market research into what Cardmembers most want in terms of benefits. In Saudi Arabia, where there is a predominantly young population, Blue from American Express has realized exceptional growth as a modern financial tool for get-ahead young people. "Blue is for achievers with big ambitions, those who are not afraid to think outside the box," said Khoury. "It's easy to use and has become a daily necessity, like your car keys and your mobile, which serves the everyday needs of an active lifestyle." Blue offers many other great benefits like Express Cash which allows Cardmembers to withdraw cash from many ATMs in Saudi Arabia and the world; Retail Protection which insures recently purchased goods on the Card against loss, theft or damage for up to 90 days; Online Fraud Guarantee which insures against unauthorized use of the Card over the internet making it the most internet friendly Credit Card; and Travel Accident Insurance which is automatically extended to Blue Cardmembers when they purchase their airline tickets using their Card.
