  • PRESS RELEASE

Al-Futtaim Technologies, the information and communications techonology solutions provider of the Al-Futtaim Group, has announced the arrival of the revolutionary e-studio MFP from Toshiba.

In a unique theatre play format at the Fairmont hotel, Toshiba & Al-Futtaim Technologies launched the e3511/4511 to expectant guests in a new, innovative way that fully depicted the rich features of the product.

Mr. Takeshi Kimura, Regional Manager - Electronics Imaging Division, Toshiba Gulf said: "Toshiba has incorporated a new revolver-type developing unit in eSTUDIO 3511/4511 to downsize the machine. It has a unique black toner cartridge and developing unit which is separate from the colour toner cartridge and developing unit. This new technology results in substantial cost savings and increased productivity for businesses interested in incorporating colour into everyday business printing/presentations."

The introduction of the Toshiba e-STUDIO3511/4511 series offers complete integration of copy, print, internet, fax and scan capabilities, thanks to the new e-bridge technology. Even though it is a colour MFP, the e3511/4511 can perform copy/print in black and white as fast as 45cpm/ppm and offers similar black and white cpc as the conventional black and white copiers. In addition to being an ideal document management solution, the e3511/4511 also contributes in improving the bottom line through the reduction of high-cost document outsourcing.

R.Muralidharan, General Manager, Al-Futtaim Technologies said: "Until recently, small and medium size businesses have had to make a difficult decision when it came to choosing devices which produce documents. Black and white and colour copier-printers have both disadvantages and advantages relating to cost, printing time, user-friendliness and results produced. Keeping costs down is one of the many battles businesses face and document related spending estimated by analyst research can run between 5 and 15% of a company's annual revenues.

Toshiba e-STUDIO3511/4511 series will revolutionise the workplace with its unique and intelligent system to distinguish black and white printing from colour printing. Small and medium size corporations will find the copiers ideal because the majority of their printing needs are in black and white; however, some colour printing is sometimes needed for presentations and business communications. This requirement for occasional colour printing/copying could not be fulfilled in the past due to high equipment and running costs.

Documents can be printed in colour without sacrificing time or money, with all the advantages of both black and white and colour printer-copiers, in addition to the benefits of having all other essential requirements fulfilled by a single device.

TECHNOLOGICALLY-superior products backed by innovative marketing and top-quality service have taken Toshiba products and UAE authorised distributor Al Futtaim Technologies to undisputed market leadership.

Muralidharan continued:" The Middle East is increasingly becoming a central business hub on the world market, therefore companies particularly the smaller and medium sized businesses need to ensure optimum efficiency. The e-STUDIO copier literally revolutionises the office environment leaving employees' time to focus on their business' core competencies".
