Electronic Document Centre (EDC), a joint venture of Emirates Post and ABBA Electronics, which is a dedicated facility designed to handle multiple printing and mailing requirements of large companies, is attracting growing number of companies looking for outsourcing their direct marketing jobs.
"While EDC has been delivering all kinds of mail fulfillment services to customers, lately we have seen a surge in the number of companies hiring our facility for direct marketing services," said Mr. Abdulla Al Ashram, CEO of EDC. "Our core strength lies in offering a total solution that enables our clients to rest assured that the entire chain of printing, inserting and mailing their communication is handled by experts. Our hi-tech machines ensure high-speed output, with several add-on features that are not available with any other company."
American Express (Amex) Middle East, which has been using EDC for printing and mailing its statements to cardholders since October 2003, has also signed up for direct marketing solutions of EDC, indicating its satisfaction with the mail fulfillment services.
Among other companies using EDC for direct marketing jobs is Emirates Post's newly established Direct Marketing Service, which has a database of over 2 million addresses. A number of banks have signed contracts with EDC to manage printing, inserting and mailing jobs for their normal mailing requirements as well as their direct marketing.
