- PRESS RELEASE
HVAC service and maintenance firm, Zamil CoolCare - a strategic business unit of Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) - has received National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) certification from the USA for testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) air and hydronic systems.
The certification attests the competence and capability of Zamil CoolCare in offering its services in testing, adjusting and balancing air and hydronic environmental systems through proper methods and procedures as established by the NEBB.
According to Faisal Al Qahtani, General Manager of CoolCare, proper balancing of air conditioning equipment is an important final step in the installation process, as it can minimize operating costs and energy bills and improve performance and help achieve the desired indoor environment.
"NEBB certification is part of CoolCare's ambitious plans of making Zamil Air Conditioners a one-stop-shop for all HVAC-related needs," said Al Qahtani who added that the certification was also a reflection of the superior level of teamwork at CoolCare.
Zamil CoolCare demonstrated its competency and infrastructure for all required procedures through a series of rigorous written and practical NEBB examinations. "The certification procedures also included stringent terms such as visual inspection of our TAB instruments and their compliance with calibrations," said Philips Tharakan, TAB Supervisor at CoolCare, who represented the company at these tests.
"Usually TAB is the final phase in HVAC projects. CoolCare's venture in this field will ensure closer ties with building owners and occupants, leading to further business opportunities for other CoolCare services," added Mohammed Ali, Area Manager, CoolCare.
With more than 500 employees, Zamil CoolCare is a strong organization with unparalleled capabilities to service and maintain air-conditioning units of any size and make. Combining both the resources and expertise which stem from more than three decades of being an integral part of the region's largest air conditioner manufacturer, Zamil CoolCare is now expanding its operations in other countries in the GCC and Middle East region.
