- PRESS RELEASE
Lufthansa German Airlines has announced the launch of a new online service for its frequent flyer Miles & More members, enabling them to trade miles for flight tickets, upgrades, last minute special fares and other awards on the airline's InfoFlyway site, www.lufthansa.com.
Miles & More members can also keep track of, and manage, their mile balances by registering online, gaining access to their mileage accounts and then using the Earn & Spend calculator, which enables customers to know how many miles they can earn for each flight and the rewards they can claim for the miles earned.
"When booking a trip online, customers are shown all available flights, and if a seat is required in a higher class, InfoFlyway indicates how many miles are needed for the requested upgrade," added Wilck. "Last minute flyers would also be able to use their miles to benefit from the special Fly Smart cut-rate fares.
