- PRESS RELEASE
A huge range of products and services vital to a hotel's day-to-day running will see their Middle East launch today at the region's top trade event for hotel suppliers, taking place at the Airport Expo Dubai.
"We have a line up of 310 exhibitors coming from a record number of 33 countries this year, the majority of which are attending the event for the first time," said Laith Kubba, Director, Streamline Marketing, the organisers of The Hotel Show.
Making a debut at the event is a new contemporary line of decorative hardware by French manufacturer, Bronzes De France. The company currently generates 15 per cent of its revenue in the Middle East and hopes its debut at the exhibition will increase its market share in the region.
Another first time exhibitor, Spanish manufacturer of buffets, dessert islands, show cooking and service accessories, King's Buffets will be using The Hotel Show to launch a new breakfast buffet table, which combines elegant design and high hygiene standards. The company started its marketing campaign in the region recently and expects its Middle East sales to reach €600,000 this year.
Also on show for the first time in the region will be new collections of curtains, fabrics, upholstery and rugs by German manufacturer, Saum & Viebahn, which is yet another newcomer to the Middle East market.
"We started exporting our products to this region only recently but what we have seen so far shows there are significant growth prospects for us here and we even considering opening a showroom in Dubai in the future, " said Anita Gasteier, the company's export director.
Attendance at The Hotel Show is free for trade visitors. The event will run simultaneously with The Office Exhibition, which is taking place in an adjacent exhibition hall.
The Hotel Show is held under the patronage of H.H.General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Government of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, which uses its international network of offices to promote the event. The exhibition is also supported by the UK, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese governments, in addition to a group organised by the US Department of Commerce. The exhibition is owned by the UK's Daily Mail Group.
The Hotel Show's exhibitor line-up includes manufacturers of audio visual and video conferencing equipment, bathroom supplies and bed linen, cutlery and crockery, carpeting and curtains. Also taking part in the event are producers of computer hardware and software, fitness, spa and pool equipment and other products and services vital to hotels.
