The Mena travel awards have been created to recognize outstanding orginisations that epitomize all attributes of hospitality. The online voting system enabled over 10, 000 end users and travel agencies across the region, the opportunity to let the area know who they felt are currently the best in the travel and hospitality industry. Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai seized this occasion and became the only 4 star hotel to walk away with three awards including the best 4-star business/corporate hotel (silver), best 4-star new hotel for the year 2003 (gold) and best environmental four star hotel (silver).
Ignace Bauwens, General Manager of ACCOR Hotels World Trade Centre Novotel and Ibis said, 'We are delighted to have been rewarded on three counts by the Mena awards voting panels, and in turn this confirms that the Novotel is now firmly placed as a leading 4 star business hotel in the U.A.E. Since opening, our team have worked very hard to ensure the hotel has been at the forefront for as many business customers as possible.
'We have also received a lot of repeat custom from guests who have found that the product and hospitality has exceeded their expectations. We look forward to expanding our brand in the Middle East.'
Through its continuous growth and respect to local cultures ACCOR aims to be the Arabian Peninsula's unchallenged leader in the upper mid-scale segment. The Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai is living up to this aim. As the first internationally branded four-star hotel in Dubai, it is specifically designed to be a quality answer to an unsatisfied market demand.
