More new faces at wa international

With a significant number of new projects on the boards, three new professionals join the Dubai office of world renowned hotel interior design specialists wa international.

Senior Interior Designers, Guy Greengrow and Helen Skea have joined the creative team and Kelly Fowler joins from The Fairmont Dubai to run the Marketing and PR department.

Both Guy and Helen offer a great deal of hospitality experience. Helen worked with KCA and RPW in London and Guy with Bilkey Llinus in Hong Kong and HBA in Singapore. Helen is an original and stylish designer who understands the needs of the client and those of the market. She is currently working on the new Le Meridien, Karachi Airport and the total refurbishment of one of the region's oldest and best loved hotels - announcement to be made soon. Guy, whose career highlights include the Oriental Plaza, Beijing and the JW Marriott, Chennai, is a gifted designer with the technical expertise necessary to ensure that projects run smoothly.

Kelly's previous hospitality experience and background in public relations addresses the communications needs of the ever-expanding design firm. She is also acting as Mark Young and Design Manager Claire Craig's PA and will be an invaluable addition to the team.

"With the amount of high profile work we have at the moment, it's so important to get the right people in place. The team is up to 21 now but we'll need a few more soon at this rate," says Mark Young, General Manager of wa international.

Founded in London in 1978 and based in Dubai for over 10 years, wa international specialises in the interior design of luxury hotel and resort properties, prestige corporate offices, private healthcare facilities and unique retail environments throughout the world. wa international's versatility and creativity can be seen in the award winning interiors of Emirates Al Maha Desert Resort, the JW Marriott and Towers Rotana in Dubai, and the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Deira.
