Comdex 2002, will however feature as one of the main events. As the world's leading information technology fair, Comdex 2002 will provide the week with an exciting background.

The theme for the inaugural Saudi Technology Forum is "Realities in a Virtual World: The Future for Business in a Digital Economy". Distinguished guests from the Middle East and world-renowned speakers from the London Business School and INSEAD will be joined by specialists from high technology companies for a programme of keynote addresses and interactive sessions that maximise audience participation.

"This unique event will provide an invaluable opportunity for government and business communities to learn more about new technologies and assess the implications for social, economic and commercial strategies," said Amr Dabbagh, chairman of Jeddah Marketing Board, (JMB). He added, "The programme will examine how technology impacts the way we communicate and compete."
