New EAM in-charge of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Dubai

The InterContinental Dubai has appointed a new EAM (Executive Assistant Manager) also in-charge of Marketing, Alessandro Cresta.
Originally from Italy, and born in Lausanne Switzerland, Alessandro Cresta brings to InterContinental Dubai his extensive experience in Sales and Marketing management from the leading hospitality industry in Europe. This includes almost Fifteen years in senior management positions with InterContinental Hotels Group.
Alessandro Cresta joined the InterContinental Hotels Group in April 1989 as a Banquets Manager, and worked his way up to Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the Crowne Plaza Geneva. During his time at the Crowne Plaza Geneva, the hotel became acknowledged as the biggest 5-star hotel in Switzerland after having built an extension that added up to 500 rooms and 3700 sqm.
His main goal as EAM and in-charge of Marketing for InterContinental Dubai is to sustain and further advance existing concepts in all of the hotel's facilities and to firmly establish the InterContinental Dubai as the most entertaining hotel and "dining destination of choice" in Dubai. Cresta is very keen on using his European Marketing background to add value to the overall hotel image and operation.
He will continue focusing on the high standards of the InterContinental Dubai in service and quality, believing that these are the foundation of any successful hospitality management.
The Italian/ Swiss Alessandro Cresta is married with two children, a girl of 9 and a boy of 6 years of age, who will soon be joining him in Dubai.
