CABSAT hosts numerous senior decision makers

The 2002 edition of the Middle East International Cable, Satellite, Broadcast and Telecommunications Exhibition (CABSAT) which closed Thursday evening, attracted numerous top officials and senior decision makers in the cable, satellite broadcast and telecommunications sectors.
"We are delighted with the interest this edition of CABSAT generated among industry players in the private and public sector. Many exhibitors said they were astounded by the quality of visitors the event attracted. There was definitely a tremendous range of serious business discussions undertaken during the exhibition which demonstrates we met our target in terms of attracting the right audience to the event," said Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Assistant General Manager (Acting) for the Dubai World Trade Centre adding that the interest displayed by His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Minister of Information for the UAE through his visit to the exhibition, also demonstrates the importance the cable, satellite, broadcast and telecommunications sectors holds in the region.
