Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment holds networking event for young entrepreneurs

Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders recently held a networking event titled Business Connections in collaboration with Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village.
"Dubai Media City clearly realizes the need to further encourage and advance the spirit of entrepreneurship to accelerate our economic development," said Abdulhamid Juma, CEO of Dubai Media City. "The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders has been playing a commendable role in this regard and we are happy to support their work through networking events like the Business Connections event."
The vision of the Establishment is to nurture the domestic entrepreneurial spirit in Dubai and catalyze the development and growth of a key sector of the economy, the Small and Medium Business sector. The Establishment's core mission is to encourage and facilitate the development of local businesses and entrepreneurial activity in Dubai. To this end, the Establishment offers various incentive measures and well co-ordinated programs to the local business community.
"Knowledge Village is happy to work with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders to provide an impetus for entrepreneurship in Dubai and the UAE," said Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director of Knowledge Village. "The Business Connection event has provided a valuable opportunity for the SME's young entrepreneurs to meet and interact with key companies in our knowledge-based industries and explore potential collaboration and partnership."
The Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment, Abdul Baset Al Janahi said, "We would like to thank the Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village for participating in this networking event."
Al Janahi added, "The event was an opportunity to gain exposure or make a worthwhile business connection between young entrepreneurs and the participating organizations. During the event the SME members and the business community shared their views and established new contacts that will further their business interests. "
Abdul Baset Al Janahi said, "The aim of organizing these events is to better equip the members to position and market their products and services. The networking opportunity is part of a series of events that the business centre department in the Establishment will be organising at regular intervals which aims at helping the UAE national youth to start their own business ventures and at developing existing businesses through the services offered by the Establishment."
The participants of the event highlighted the commitment of Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. towards providing varied programmes and services that support their projects.
Kamilia Bin Zaal, Owner of Etcetera Company said, "We are pleased to participate in this event and we will be happy to cooperate with the various leading companies in our field as this cooperation will definitely help us establish our name in the market. We were able to attract the attention of many companies and exchange experiences and ideas through this event. We hope that the Establishment will continue to organize such networking events, as they benefit all the participants."
Yousef Ali bin Zayed, CEO of Art Connections, one of the companies functioning under the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment, said " The event was a big support for the members of the Establishment, it was an ideal opportunity to showcase our services and products to international and local companies. Many companies appreciated the idea behind our project and the services we provide in the tourism and business sectors, and I would like to thank everyone who helped organize this event, and invite my member colleagues of the Establishment to benefit from such opportunities."
This networking event is part of the series of seminars and workshops organized by the Business Centre at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment which aims at supporting UAE nationals who seek to start-up new businesses and young entrepreneurs who need to develop their business ventures.
