DDIA to highlight investment opportunities in Dubai at the Dubai-Germany Economic Partnership Forum in Munich

The German Minister of Economy will inaugurate the Forum.

Al Muntafiq said that the Forum will be a platform for investors and decision-makers from German companies to look at the impressive development of Dubai and the UAE - and at the rewarding opportunities that this development offers.

He pointed out that the position of Dubai as a regional hub for business, trade, tourism and its vibrant business environment and infrastructure, contributes towards strengthening its position in attracting foreign investments.

Al Muntafiq predicts that coming years would witness a great increase in German investments in the UAE. He pointed out that there are many German companies that are looking at investment opportunities that the UAE offers - specially in new initiatives such as the Dubai Healthcare City, Dubailand and others.

Al Muntafiq clarified: "Germany is one of the leading countries when it comes to making foreign investments. But German investments in UAE and Middle East are yet not satisfactory. We hope that this Forum will shed more light on this issue and help improve capital flows."

The Forum, which will be attended by some of Dubai's biggest organizations from the public and private sector, will discuss many issues such as banking and financial services, industrial development and joint ventures, building construction and real estate, infrastructure and environmental technology, healthcare, life science, tourism and related industries, IT and media technology.

It will also explain about legal guidelines for doing business in Dubai.
