Real estate poll finds exhibitions a buying factor

The poll, being run in advance of Home Owner Dubai, 3-5 June 2004, being held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Conference Centre has found that over 72% of those polled said that they would go to real estate event before making a decision on whether to buy or invest in property.

Commenting on the poll, Simon O'Herlihy, General Manager of Marketing for Home Owner Dubai said, "We are delighted with the initial result of the poll. It proves that Home Owner Dubai is the event of choice for those who are interested in being part of Dubai's real estate boom.

"Furthermore the poll highlights that there is a huge need for information on buying and investing in real estate as well as a forum in which those who provide real estate and associated service can present their products and service under one roof to a demanding audience".

"The findings echo those of our own research that has shown that we have had a 59% increase in people interested in visiting the event. Last year our website took over 54,000 hits from July to December when the event took place. This resulted in over 2,400 visitors attending the two-day event. Since January 2004 we have already taken over 85,000 hits on the site," observed O'Herlihy.

Motivate are confident that attendance records will be broken. "With the introduction of the Family Day on the 4th of June, the increased umber of people interested in purchasing or investing in real estate in Dubai, from home and abroad as well as the interest we are receiving from the indigenous population of Dubai Home Owner Dubai has underlined it's position as the leading property and property services show in the Middle East" said O'Herlihy.
