McDonald's Middle East Development Company receives the 2003 Circle of Excellence Award

McDonald's Middle East Development Company - MMEDC, the Dubai based organization, was awarded the 2003 Circle of Excellence Award during a ceremony held last Friday at Burj Al Arab, Dubai.
"Our team showed dedication and commitment throughout all the operations", said Bob Larsen, Vice President at MMEDC, "and the award came as a driving engine for us, giving our team momentum for similar success in the future."
The 2003 Circle of Excellence Award was presented to the twelve team members from MMEDC, namely: Bob Larson, Alsharif Abdallah Alluhaymaq, Ala Mohammad, Arosha Wijemuni, Habib M'Nasria, Hans Lewin, Mithqal Abu Nasser, Mohamad Atwa, Rashwan Miknas, Walid Mekkaoui, Yousif Abdulghani and Ricarda Ruecker.
Commenting on this special occasion, Walid Makkawi, Human Resources Director at MMEDC, said, "We are proud to receive such a prestigious award, especially amidst a huge number of competitors from all over the world. This award came as recognition by Oak Brook of our team efforts throughout a whole year."
Speaking about the strong cooperation between MMEDC and McDonald's local owners and operators, Makkawi said: "Our partners should be proud of this award, since they are all behind our success; this is the spirit of our partnership that keeps us always moving ahead... towards new horizons.
