Leading Abu Dhabi based IT company to host network technology seminar
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, May 30 - 2004 at 12:38
- PRESS RELEASE
Data Processing Systems (DPS), one of the UAE's most successful and well-established IT firms, is to share expertise amassed over twenty years of dealing with the country's biggest corporate and government institutions.
"Our customers' knowledge of networking is growing rapidly, and people increasingly seek a real understanding of the systems they rely on," said Nader Al-Atout, manager, Enterprise Networks Division, DPS. "We are holding this event to deliver just that understanding, with a series of talks on the technology behind office networks, and the real business needs they fulfil."
With a long-standing reputation as the UAE's leading supplier of secure and reliable data communication solutions, DPS is well-placed to advise IT decision-makers on their systems. Attendees will hear presentations on the latest high-speed networking, enterprise-level converged and multi-layer applications, load balancing and a host of other issues that conscientious IT managers need to keep abreast of.
The seminar is geared primarily towards professionals with an idea of what they want from their networking products and services. Speakers will share details of recent developments in networking standards and applications, giving attendees an idea of what to expect in the near future. Delegates will be able to question speakers freely at a 'Q&A' session.
"DPS is acknowledged as one of the UAE's premier systems integrators, and has proved a valuable partner for Foundry Networks in the crucial Middle East market," said Farook Majeed, regional director of Foundry Networks. "As the region's technology sector has taken off, DPS has achieved greater and greater success - both in its own right and as a reseller for us. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to present the expertise of both companies to the people who matter most: our customers."
The seminar, entitled 'Don't Plan for Yesterday - Plan for Today, Plan for Tomorrow', will take place on 1st June at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
