UCA calls for fixed cement prices

The UAE Contractors Association has called on the government to tackle soaring building material prices by fixing the price of cement, according to Gulf News. Officials said the price of building materials was going up more locally than in international markets, and said contractors were in the process of setting up a trading company to help ensure fair prices.
