LG launches channel healthcare programme

Reinforcing its commitment to channel partners across the Middle East, global and regional digital leader LG Electronics has launched a novel healthcare scheme.
LG recently inaugurated the programme by flying 31 channel officials from the UAE, Iran, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Congo and Senegal to undergo a series of 12 tests, including blood, liver and heart tests, at the Korea Association of Health Promotion Medical Center in Seoul. The initiative falls under LG MEA's 'Family Belt' programme, which aims to build a company culture of teamwork and caring.
"Our goal is to get closer to our partners and colleagues and create a genuine family atmosphere," said Mr K.H Kim, President, LG Middle East and Africa. "Showing that we care about the welfare of the people we work with every day boosts morale and is an important motivational tool. The programme is also potentially life-saving because it helps to identify health problems at the earliest stage."
