This is the third conference offered in the Middle East by BICSI, the International Telecommunications Association that is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year.
BICSI - Building Industry Consulting Service International - is a non-profit world-wide association which serves the industry with standards-based technical publications, training, registration exams, and educational events. "New initiatives are being launched globally by BICSI as the number of members is growing and more educational activities are taking place," said Kandasamy Ganesan, Middle East & Africa District Chairman, BICSI.
The earlier two Middle East & Africa district conferences in year 2002 & 2003 were held in Dubai, UAE. Since the venue shifted to the Kingdom of Bahrain this year, the event has attracted maximum participation from neighbouring Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 36% of the total delegates are from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while only 8% are from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
