Home Owner Dubai, the leading exhibition for real estate purchase and investment in the UAE, was opened today by Ahmed Al Banna, Deputy Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The show brings together prospective and exisiting homeowners with those companies involved in selling and setting up residential property in Dubai. Among the exhibitors, and official sponsors, are Emaar, Nakheel, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Georgian Estates, RAKBANK and Dubai Freehold Property.

Due to the success of the last Home Owner Dubai, which attracted more than 2,400 visitors over two days, this event has been extended to three days with Friday dedicated to those with families. "The research we carried out at the last event showed that many of those who are considering purchasing property want to do so as a family unit," commented Simon O'Herlihy, General Manager of Marketing, Motivate Events. "In order to address the visitors' needs we have introduced a Family Day whereby the entire family can take part in purchasing decisions by seeing what different developers have to offer".

Home Owner Dubai will again be holding a series of seminars dedicated to purchasing real estate in the region. "The Home Owner Dubai Seminars will feature entire sessions dedicated to the basics. If anything, the seminars will provide a more genuine understanding of the potential problems in real estate purchase as well as the financial options to potential buyers and investors," said O'Herlihy. "Buying property can be difficult to grasp and as the industry in the Middle East is in its infancy there are, understandably, many questions about what works and what doesn't. This time the seminars will address the fundamentals as well as continuing the update of developments in legal, financial and maintenance to those who have already bought".

Home Owner Dubai is open June 3-5 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Conference Centre from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. (7 p.m. Saturday), with children under 16 only admitted on Friday, June 4.
