Dubai TV takes on MEMS of the Choueiri Group to manage advertising

The group will be the sole representative of the station, promoting the station commercially to media agencies, corporates and government institutions across the region.

Antoine Choueiri, Chairman of the Choueiri Group, was in Dubai last week to sign the deal with Hussain Ali Lootah, CEO of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), the parent company of Dubai TV. The group will act as Dubai TV's media representatives and will oversee the commissioning of advertising for the new station.

The two companies will work closely to attract top quality advertising for Dubai TV as it launches a new style of programming throughout the Middle East," said Mr. Lootah, commenting on the signing of the deal.

Mr. Choueiri, with 35 years in the business, brings the experience to bear that Dubai TV needs to drive its advertising content forward. "I am extremely impressed with the station's new programme grid. The kind of projects it is undertaking are unique in Arab television. Dubai TV is going to be one of the region's top stations."

The Choueiri Group is one of the Middle East advertising industry's leading media companies and represents several leading media organisations, including Lebanon's LBC Sat, Qatar-based Al Jazeera, London-based Arabic daily Al Hayat, the UAE's Al Bayan and Lebanese broadsheets An Nahar and Al Safir.
