The theme of the Forum, which is being held for the first time in the region, is `Growth Through Innovation,' and it will emphasize SAP's commitment to empower business change through innovative solutions.

Announcing the SAP Business Forum, Mr. Essam Enany, President of SAP Arabia said the event is targeted at senior executives, business managers, decision makers, and IT professionals across the Middle East. "The purpose of the event is to highlight how adoption of innovative business solutions helps gain competitive edge through greater efficiencies, improved agility, and stronger customer relationships," he said.

SAP will also launch the latest version of its integration and application platform, SAP NetWeaver 2004, the first true platform to be delivered as one packaged solution. SAP NetWeaver 2004 synchronizes the release of all of its technology components and delivers new functional enhancements to help customers execute flexible business strategies and drive business change and innovation while reducing IT costs and complexities.

"SAP Netweaver provides customers with the best way to integrate SAP and non-SAP systems while forming the base of mySAP ERP and the rest of the solutions, offered as part of mySAP Business Suite," said Mr. Enany.

As is the case with every SAP conference, the SAP Business Forum will highlight key customer success stories and testimonials across a number of industries and executives will share their experience on the use of latest technologies to resolve complex business issues.

The sponsors of the conference are Atos Origin, Intel, Axon Solutions Limited, SAP SI, Business Objects, Wipro Limited, Citrix, Seal Consulting Inc. and Captaris.

"Atos Origin Middle East is delighted to participate in the SAP Business Forum as a Platinum Sponsor," said Mr. Peter Hynes, Vice President, Atos Origin Middle East.

"With the deep commitment that Atos Origin has with SAP, we feel it is important for us to participate in this forum to illustrate our capabilities to execute and implement SAP projects professionally. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership with SAP here in the Middle East region by working together with them so that we can turn our client vision into results." Mr. Hynes added.

"Intel architecture has been widely accepted as the first choice for running SAP applications and the Forum will give an in-depth insight into how innovative IT infrastructures can simplify SAP landscapes, reduce investment and operating costs and maximize return on investment," said Intel's Sam Al-Schamma, Country Manager for the Saudi Arabia and GCC region, the forum's 2nd Platinum sponsor.
