- PRESS RELEASE
Leading executive Sarah Johnson has been appointed Branch Manager Abu Dhabi, by TNT, the world's leading business-to-business express carrier.
"Abu Dhabi is a pivotal regional market as most of our clients are involved in the oil industry so we treat it with great importance," says Pell.
Johnson joins a TNT operation which grew 22 per cent the last two years, according to Pell.
Johnson, who joined TNT as a field sales executive, brings a wealth of experience to her new post. Her most recent role with the Dutch-owned integrator was as Depot Sales Manager at Stanstead International Airport in the UK. She also held a senior position with TNT at Heathrow Airport.
"My role involves business development, sales, customer service and training, managing and developing staff. People have always been T NT's greatest asset.
"As a diplomatic city Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi has a number of characteristics which require services to be specially-tailored to its needs."
Johnson's position became available when highly-regarded Ben Roberts moved to run TNT's Kuwait operation.
Johnson, who is Welsh, is married to a New Zealander. Predictably, the sport of rugby takes up much of their leisure time.
