- PRESS RELEASE
Exact Software Middle East, the leading manufacturer of enterprise resource planning software (ERP), today announced the opening of its Kuwait office, and announced that the Al-Sayer Group - their largest customer in the region - has gone live with an Exact solution.
Exact's new Kuwait office, headed by general manager Mazin Abou-Seido, will support the deployment of the Exact solution - used by more than 500 Al-Sayer employees. The software will automate various administrative processes, including document management, workflow and human resources. It is now in use at fifteen different Al-Sayer offices, leveraging full benefit from the Exact's multi-site capabilities.
"With an operation as diverse as ours, functioning over multiple sites, it is important to minimise the time and money we devote to administration whenever possible," said Saleh Al-Kout, Group Manager, Information Services Department, Al-Sayer Group. "The Exact eSynergy software that we have implemented is designed to manage the demands of large businesses with many offices. We are already seeing the benefits of sharing information and reducing the replication of work."
The solution will enable Al-Sayer's diverse business activities, which operate across Kuwait, to report directly to its head office quickly and efficiently, as well as providing real-time updates on its operations.
Exact Software's Kuwait office opening, is the first of six planned openings in the region. Operations are due to begin in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar by autumn 2004, while offices in the Levant, Oman and Egypt are expected to be up and running by the end of 2005. All will report to Exact's Middle East headquarters in Dubai.
"We are excited to be opening Exact's first regional office, which will be part of Exact Software's Middle East network," said Abou-Seido. "It is especially significant, given that our largest customer in the Middle East is the Al-Sayer Group. This is a major implementation, which will showcase the ability of Exact Software solutions to fulfil real business needs of companies in Kuwait."
Exact's Kuwait operation will develop new business as well as support, train and implement their revolutionary One-X solution, which allows organizations to mange their entire business system from a single, integrated database, allowing efficient sharing of information between headquarters and regional offices.
"We aim to make the Middle East one of Exact's four pillars worldwide," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. "Kuwait was a natural choice for our second regional operation, as we have traditionally had a strong record in the country. We look forward to expanding our presence over the next eighteen months, and building on our relationship with customers such as the Al Sayer Group."
