DTCM meeting discuss events for DSS-2004 Sweet Surprises

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) yesterday held the fifth meeting with the its partners for the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS-2004) Sweet Surprises themed week to be held in Dubai from July 1 to 7.
Mr. bin Beyat said: "The grand opening ceremony of the week-long events will take place at the Bur Juman Centre on July 1. Details of the events that will take place during the Sweet Surprises will be announced on June 28."
A wide variety of educational and entertainment programmes will be organized at several shopping malls and other public places during the week. He said over 5,000 visitors from all age groups and nationalities are expected to attend the programmes daily.
The participants held discussions on the line-up of events and gave their opinions and suggestions to make the annual event a grand success like the previous years.
