- PRESS RELEASE
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the latest course to be available through knowledgenetwork (knet), the Dubai-based human resources and training consultancy.
"The study of NLP explains the relationship between experience and behaviour, and understanding this relationship empowers you with effective listening skills, which is a key factor to success in management techniques.
"NLP can improve your ability to communicate, coach, motivate and manage, as well as develop flexibility to cope with today's flatter corporate structure, cross-functional responsibilities, team structures and remote management methods."
In a survey in the USA, 88 per cent of delegates questioned believed that NLP training was an extremely good investment of time and money.
The majority responded that the most effective technique learned was Time Line Therapy, followed by techniques related to language structure, patterns and recognition, as well as techniques designed to aid the establishment of rapport.
Haboubi explained: "Time Line Therapy is a collection of techniques that allows you to gain emotional control over your life, so certain emotional reactions such as anger, depression or apathy can be compartmentalised and overcome, allowing you to move closer to your goals.
"Managers can use these techniques to help their teams achieve, maintain and enhance excellence, as well as drive strong teamwork and effective negotiations and problem-solving sessions."
The course runs in Dubai from June 24 to July 9, (Thursday and Friday sessions).
