LG expands AC market share with new Art Cool range
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, June 15 - 2004 at 08:34
- PRESS RELEASE
Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics has set a new benchmark for air conditioner design with today's launch in the GCC of its new 'Art Cool' range aimed at high-end customers.
Quality training has played its part in LG's success in the regional market. The company's Air-Conditioning Academy in Dubai has trained more than 1,000 specialists to date, and similar academies for installers and contractors are run in Saudi Arabia.
With today's Gulf launch of Art Cool, LG hopes to put even more distance between itself and the competition by matching its reputation for advanced technology with the last word in chic design.
The LG Art Cool range comes in three models - Deluxe, Wide and Panel - and a variety of colours and finishes to make the most of both the home and office environment. The wall-mounted, single split range is also remote control operated.
Art Cool AC units come in blue, cherry, white wood, mirror and metal finishes. What's more, the soon-to-be-available Art Cool picture series features a choice of popular images, including paintings by famous artists like Van Gogh and Sisley, and pictures of Mecca and writings from the Quran.
"Art Cool fills an important niche for upscale home and office air-conditioning products. LG already supplies most of the air-conditioner requirements of the EMAAR villa projects in Dubai and is pursuing other important real estate projects.
"There is a construction boom going on in the UAE right now, and the same is true of Kuwait and Qatar on a smaller scale. That's very important for the AC industry," said Mr P.C Choi, President, LG Electronics Gulf FZE.
"Art Cool air conditioners show that even the humble AC can be fun, dynamic and technologically cutting edge. As well as making the perfect interior design statement, they also employ some of the most advanced technology available today."
LG's Art Cool boasts features that set new standards for safety, economy, and environmental awareness.
Art Cool air conditioners are fitted with LG's unique NanoPlasma Air Purifying System™ that has been developed to remove dust and other microscopic contaminants, helping to reduce allergic reactions like asthma.
Art Cool also features the Auto-Clean System, which helps to dry the unit and remove odour and mould once the AC is switched off. The clever technology cuts down on maintenance and kills off harmful bacteria.
Healthy Dehumidification reduces humidity to comfortable levels, a priceless feature during the harsh summer months, and Art Cool's Four-Way Auto Swing distributes air in no less than four directions.
Low noise airflow, anti-corrosion technology, and Jet Cool™ technology that blows cool air at high speeds for 30 minutes to reduce room temperature rapidly are other advanced features of LG Art Cool.
Promoting the launch of Art Cool in the GCC, LG is set to embark on a regional product road show touring shopping malls across the Gulf. Art Cool will be available from all leading distributor showrooms, major electronic appliance retailers and hypermarkets.
