'This guarantee is our way of highlighting that we are absolutely confident that this device is the 'King of Playability' and can be relied on to play almost any DVD video or VCD movie disk. We know that consumers are hungry for a versatile device like this and we encourage them to take up our challenge. If you have it, this device can play it!' said Khalid Tuer, Philips Regional General Manager, Middle East and Africa.

'This player will enrich the entertainment experience for its users, not only because they can watch or listen to almost anything, but also because it delivers excellent picture and sound, all at an affordable price,' Khalid added.

The device also can play MP3 format music CDs, has a karaoke function and can display digital pictures stored in jpeg format. Most important, the player has a 3.2 pull down Progressive Scan feature that ensures flicker-free high resolution images.

The promotion runs through July 15 and applies only to the DVP532K DVD player, which can be purchased from any authorized dealer or distributor. Refund claims can be presented to Gulf Electronics Co. or Al Ghandi Electronics dealer showrooms in the UAE.
