- PRESS RELEASE
Marriott International recognised the community efforts of its four Dubai properties yesterday, awarding them as the best Small Market Council for Outstanding Performance in Community Relations out of all Marriott Business Councils worldwide.
"This award recognises all the hard work and dedication, not only of the Marriott Business Council, but of all Marriott associates here in Dubai. As a team we have worked hard to give something back to the community in which we work; through our relations with the Al Noor School for Special Needs, the Emirates Environmental Group and the Al Rashid Paediatric Centre," explained Mr. Barghout.
The evening was attended by General Manager of the Renaissance Hotel Dubai, Mr. Francisco Gile; General Manager of the Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai, Ms. Sanne Emborg; General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Green Community, Ms. Elaine Watson; and General Manager of the JW Marriott Dubai, Mr. Ibrahim Barghout.
Marriott International community care programmes include operating as an Environmentally Conscious Hospitality Operation, as well as engaging in Spirit to Serve activities that help to positively impact the community in which Marriott has a prescence.
