Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, said: "Dubai Duty Free is a key sponsor of DSS for the first time and in line with this, a number of promotional activities will be introduced to enhance the DSS themes over the coming ten weeks."

With young people in mind, Dubai Duty Free will also organise a series of visits for the members of the Modhesh Friends Club, which will offer children the chance to experience the excitement at the airport retail outlets even without travelling.

Coupled with this, Dubai Duty Free will be unveiling a series of promotional offers with the 'Summer Surprises' retail offer, which will provide customers with special holiday prices on a range of goods. 'Summer Surprises' leaflets, detailing the latest special offers, will be available at Dubai Duty Free throughout DSS.

Throughout DSS, Dubai Duty Free will continue to run its ever-popular Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire promotions. On average, the operation presents winners with a Finest Surprise luxury car every week, while the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw creates a dollar millionaire every six to eight weeks. Within the opening week of DSS, Dubai Duty Free will conduct the 39th Millennium Millionaire draw, creating the first DSS dollar millionaire.
