UK's ARY Digital in Pehla encryption deal

The Middle East's hit Asian pay-TV bouquet Pehla, revealed an agreement has been reached to exclusively encrypt the hugely popular UK based Urdu satellite channel ARY Digital.
"ARY Digital offers 24 hours of unique entertainment as well as a rich mix of Urdu entertainment programmes covering news, cartoons, films, sports, drama, music, fashion and sitcoms. ARY is also the home of the Urdu version of the hit TV game show 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'," noted Salman Iqbal, CEO, ARY Digital.

ARY Digital has had a string of success with shows such as ARY News, Movie Mania, Life is a Drama, Talk Back, Music For Your Ears, Be A Sport, Kids Time as well as Islamic chat shows. Many Asian viewers follow its Gold Quiz offering viewers opportunities to win an instant kilo of gold and the channel has invested in a state-of-the-art telephone system to handle thousands of viewer calls received for this show in particular.
