EIM launches campaign to facilitate to the subscription to Al Shamil high speed Internet access

Emirates Internet and Multimedia (EIM), the ISP Business Unit of Etisalat, announced a month-long promotional campaign for the new subscribers of Al Shamil high-speed Internet service as well as permanent reductions of monthly charges on existing Al Shamil packages.
As part of EIM's continuous effort to respond to its customers' requirements and needs, a new Al Shamil package with a speed of 256 Kbps for monthly charges of only AED 190 is introduced. All existing subscribers on Al Shamil 384 Kbps package will be migrated to 512 Kbps package free of charge, and for the same monthly charges of AED 250. Moreover, the monthly charges on the 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps packages will be permanently reduced. Existing and new subscribers of the 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps packages will be migrated to a new pricing scheme.
Through the promotional campaign available until the 14th July 2004, new subscribers to Al Shamil service will save the registration fee of AED 200 along with a 50% discount on the monthly charges on the 256 and 512 packages. Moreover, Al Shamil existing and new subscribers will have a 75% discount on Learnonline courses delivered via Etisalat's Learnonline portal (www.learnonline.ae).
Abdullah Hashim, Senior Manager Business Development & Marketing, EIM, said: "EIM's continuous price reductions and promotional campaigns are efforts based upon our commitment to expand usage of the high speed Internet in the UAE, as well as provide the newest and best Internet modern technologies to our subscribers, allowing them to reap the benefits of the vast Internet resources."
