Cathay Pacific wins prestigious 'Best of the Best' award

Cathay Pacific recently announced that it has received the 'Best of the Best' award from Robb Report, a prestigious luxury lifestyle and travel award from the United States.

It is the only airline in the world acknowledged in the said award.

The airline has been voted to be the provider of the "world's most exceptional products and services."

Cathay Pacific being recognized as "Best of the Best" is testament to our commitment to all our passengers and to the hard work and dedication of all our staff. We are delighted to receive this award," enthused Robert Cutler, Cathay Pacific's Director for Service Delivery.

Robb Report is a well-respected international authority on luxury lifestyle which reports on issues and trends affecting the upscale market. The award was decided upon the independent reports of many travel writers and editors all over the world during the past year.

Cathay Pacific was cited for its ability to provide First Class travelers with "spacious sleeper seats, scrumptious menu selections, world-class lounges, and first-rate hospitality", according to the citation made by international travel writers and editors of Robb Report.

Meanwhile, as part of its continued service, Cathay Pacific announced it will replace one aircraft with brand new Airbus 330-300 flying to and from Dubai which means there would be three flights with First Class options starting June 4, 2004.

"Considering the success of two flights with First Class which was started in early 2001 and understanding the potential of premium travel from and to Dubai, we will be getting this third flight with First Class option," revealed Navin Chellaram, Cathay Pacific's Country Manager for the UAE and Oman.

Cathay Pacific offers its travelers seatback TVs with 47 channels of non-stop entertainment in all classes. It also has inflight telephones, fax and e-mail access and sumptuous food especially catered are being served in every flight.

Its First Class flights have state-of-the-art seats which turn into flat beds when reclined with enhanced in-flight entertainment called Studio CX. Also offers internet on-board facility.

"We at Cathay understand the need of our passengers for comfort and excellent service and that is the reason we have all these in place," Chellaram referring to the amenities on board.

Cathay Pacific flies 11 times out of Dubai to Hong Kong and offers convenient connections to Asia, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and China destinations.
