Emirates Post's 'Bharat Parcel Guaranteed' service is finalist in the innovation category at World Mail Awards

Emirates Post's Bharat Parcel Guaranteed service was one of the four finalists in the Innovation Award category of the prestigious World Mail Awards which were presented recently in Berlin.
The four finalists short-listed for the innovation award were Emirates Post for its Bharat Parcel Guaranteed scheme, Finland Post for its Customised Stamp, South African Post Office for its Paymaster to the Nation scheme and DHL & KEBA AG for their Packstation.
The annual World Mail Awards recognize excellence in postal services, encourage best practices and celebrate, reward and promote success through media and web exposure. The awards were given in ten categories: e-Commerce, Innovation, Enterprise, Customer Service, Marketing, Security, Technology, Industry Leadership, Quality and Transformation.
"Being short-listed for such an award is an honour that recognizes the vigorous efforts of Emirates Post to introduce innovation and modern marketing concepts into its operations. Our Bharat Parcel Guaranteed service not only delivers value but goes an extra mile to allow customers to send parcels to their near and dear ones with guaranteed peace of mind," said Mr. Al Daboos. "This recognition at such a prestigious international forum will motivate us to work more aggressively to enhance the product."
Bharat Parcel Guaranteed, launched on January 15, 2004, is a value-added parcel service to India, which offers to refund the parcel charges if the parcel is not delivered within two weeks.
