New EPSON EMP-TW100 and EMP-TS10 home cinema projectors
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, March 14 - 2002 at 09:08
- PRESS RELEASE
Unlike many home cinema projectors, the EMP-TW100 and EMP-TS10 can be seen but not heard with noise levels reaching only 30db and 31db respectively.
The modes featured are; Theatre mode for DVD movies, natural mode for natural colour reproduction, game mode to create a vivid picture for TV or PC games, PC mode for the brightest image and sRGB, which produces the colours in accordance with the sRGB standard. Experienced users can also adjust the black, whites and colours separately to suit their personal choice. These personal settings can then be saved and accessed again and again, but the standard settings will remain unchanged.
Image quality is further enhanced with the introduction of 3D/YC separation. It suppresses colour noise often created from video output and provides a sharper clearer image.
Khalil El Dalu, EPSON Middle East General Manager, says: "EPSON projector range extends from ultra-portable to installation units - and now the time is right for us to introduce projectors exclusively for the home. The new EMP-TW100 and EMP-TS10 have been designed specifically with the home user in mind, they provide high-quality output, are affordable, reliable, quiet and easy to set up and use. To ensure further peace of mind EPSON are providing a 3 year collect, repair and return warranty."
The EMP-TW100 and the EMP-TS10 are both specialist products for high quality video projection. The EMP-TW100 offers the very best quality image, where the aspect ratio of the LCD panel is 16 x 9 (widescreen). The EMP-TW100 also includes a Faroudja advanced image processor, a technology normally found in very expensive CRT projectors, which enhances the image quality, particularly moving images. Other features in the EMP-TW100 are it's built-in sleep mode, and an advanced remote control.
