Gulf Finance House B.S.C announces sponsorship of Bahrain Islamic Banking Awareness Week

Announcing the decision to sponsor the awareness program which will bring renowned Islamic Scholars, youth and leadership experts to Bahrain, Mr. Esam Janahi, CEO of GFH said: "We are proud to sponsor the awareness program, the first-of its kind in the region and the world. GCIBFI, in which GFH is also a member, is an international autonomous non-profit corporate body that represents Islamic banks and financial institutions and the Islamic financial industry globally. It was incorporated in the Kingdom of Bahrain in May 2001.

The program which has received widespread support from central banks of the region, international Islamic institutions and corporates will be a highly interactive platform opportunity for the local community in Bahrain and internationally to see the developments made by the Islamic financial industry and also to see its potential to trailblaze social growth through key economic programmes and activities.
